Project Onyx encompassed construction of a manufacturing plant for sapphire glass, currently used in smart phone cameras and fingerprint reading sensors.

DSI met challenge, including an extremely compressed schedule followed by a large learning curve with modular design and with the General Contractor. In short order, installations of modules were carefully planned in the field, and any shop fabrication was completed offsite to ensure only bolt up so limited welding was needed in the field.
