General Motors M5 Auto Conveyor Project
Arlington, Texas
The General Motors (GM) Arlington Assembly Plant’s production started in 1954. It presently produces approximately 1,200 vehicles daily. GM pays $1 million in wages every day at this location which is new money coming back into the community.
The M5 Auto Conveyor Project, that Dynamic Systems, Inc. was a part of, included a helicopter lift of new Air Handling Units over the existing plant. This auto conveyor carries automobiles from one part of the assembly plant, up to the roof level, and then down to another area of the plant.
