Jason Jarrell (Retired Veteran)

Manager of Service & Special Projects | Team Member Since 2021

Education: American Military University

About: Jason serves as the Manager of Service & Special projects for the Houston market.  Jason began his career with DSI in 2021.  Prior to that, Jason spent 20 years in the military serving as an Engineering Officer where he gained experience and managed preventive maintenance programs, corrective maintenance, and operation of multiple critical systems including HVAC, Septic, Hydraulics, Diesel and Outboard Engines, and basic electrical systems. During his tenure, Jason experienced a diverse project background in Facilities and Shipboard assets, overseeing capital project management of each discipline.

James Whitten

Education: Local 211 Pipefitters apprenticeship school (5yr Program) 2008-2013

ITT Technical Institute – Associate in Applied sciences 2005 (Computer & Electronic Engineering & Technology)

About: James has been in the service industry since 2003. He started his career with Rigaku Americas as a service technician in 2003 moving up in roles of increasing responsibility where he became a regional service manager in 2005 through 2008. In 2008 he joined the local 211 Pipefitters union where he started work with DSI as a pre-apprentice. Since James has started with DSI he has completed his 5-year apprenticeship and gained his journeyman status. Over the last 14 years he has gained extensive experience in the HVAC industry and has received countless hours of specialized training on various pieces of equipment. In 2017 he was assigned as the Houston branch service manager. In his new role, he continues to exude excellence by instilling professional, proficient, and punctual values, and is the foundation of a well-rounded service department. He continues to exponentially build the service department with a dynamic focus in customer.
