About: Ryan started in the business in 2007. He completed the plumbing apprenticeship in 2012. Shortly after completing the apprenticeship, He moved up into management. He has overseen multiple large projects that had great success. He joined the project management/ operation team in 2017. He worked at LMI in Denver Colorado for 15 years before moving to Texas and joining the DSI family in October 2021.

Kevin Ryden

Education: Texas A&M – Bachelor of Science 2002

About: Kevin joined the DSI team in Oct of 2022.  Prior to coming to DSI, Kevin worked in the MEP industry for 7 years as a Business Development Manager for a regional MEP contractor and Area Manager for a boiler service contractor and boiler manufacturers rep.  He has been in facility sales for over 10 years and has built strong relationships with many facility managers, property owners and property managers throughout Central Texas.  Having a project management background in the commercial irrigation industry and the electrical manufacturing industry, gives him solid understanding of what makes successful projects once deals are sold and are implemented in the field.

Alex Calisto

Manager of Service & Special Projects | Team Member Since 2008

Education: The University of Texas at Austin – Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

The University of Texas at Dallas – Master of Science in Management Science

About: Alex serves as the Manager of Service & Special projects for the Dallas / Fort Worth market.  Alex began his career with DSI as a Project Manager before transitioning to the Service & Special Projects department in 2019.  During his career Alex has managed a wide array of projects ranging from light commercial, through healthcare, laboratories, semiconductor, and many markets in between.

Dwayne Morris

Education: University of Houston – B.S. Industrial Distribution (1999)

About: Dwayne has been in the HVAC service industry since 1997. After graduating from college in 1999 he started his career with Carrier Commercial Service as a dispatcher holding roles of increasing responsibility through sales and account management to become Territory Service Manager in 2006. After helping other smaller mechanical contractors start service departments, Dwayne joined DSI in 2016 as the Service Manager organizing the service department into what it is today.

Cole Steubing

Project Manager | Team Member Since 2020

Education: Texas A&M University – Bachelor in Constuction Science

About: Cole Steubing is a Project Manager for the Dynamic Systems’ Branch Office located in College Station, Texas. He began working in the construction industry in 2018, and recently joined the DSI team in 2020. He has had the opportunity to work in several cities in Texas including College Station, San Antonio, San Marcos, and Temple. He has a diverse project background in a variety of markets such as Commercial, Education, Laboratory, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical, and Chemical Process.

Sam Burnside 

Piping/Plumbing Labor Manager | Team Member Since: 2009

Education: JATC Trade School

About: Sam Burnside is a Labor Manager at the Dynamic Systems’ Branch Office in San Antonio, Texas. He began working in the mechanical construction industry in 2007, and soon after, joined the DSI team in 2009. Sam has vast experience in many different markets such as Clean Room, Commercial, Healthcare, Laboratory, Life Sciences, Mission Critical, and Semiconductor. Sam has stayed within College Station, Austin, and San Antonio for his project work.

Ronald Blodgett

Education: Salinas Technical School – HVAC Mechanical Repair

About: Ronald Blodgett is currently acting as a Service Manager for the Dynamic Systems’ Branch Office in College Station, Texas. Ronald joined the team in 2017 but has 17 years of previous experience working in the mechanical contracting industry. During his career, Ronald has gained invaluable knowledge from working on a variety of projects in many different positions, in markets including Healthcare, Education, Mission Critical, and Solar. He has also worked with Server Rooms, on Military projects and with government contracts. Ronald has traveled to many states Oklahoma.

Jason Jarrell (Retired Veteran)

Manager of Service & Special Projects | Team Member Since 2021

Education: American Military University

About: Jason serves as the Manager of Service & Special projects for the Houston market.  Jason began his career with DSI in 2021.  Prior to that, Jason spent 20 years in the military serving as an Engineering Officer where he gained experience and managed preventive maintenance programs, corrective maintenance, and operation of multiple critical systems including HVAC, Septic, Hydraulics, Diesel and Outboard Engines, and basic electrical systems. During his tenure, Jason experienced a diverse project background in Facilities and Shipboard assets, overseeing capital project management of each discipline.

James Whitten

Service Manager | Team Member Since: 2008

Education: Local 211 Pipefitters apprenticeship school (5yr Program) 2008-2013

ITT Technical Institute – Associate in Applied sciences 2005 (Computer & Electronic Engineering & Technology)

About: James has been in the service industry since 2003. He started his career with Rigaku Americas as a service technician in 2003 moving up in roles of increasing responsibility where he became a regional service manager in 2005 through 2008. In 2008 he joined the local 211 Pipefitters union where he started work with DSI as a pre-apprentice. Since James has started with DSI he has completed his 5-year apprenticeship and gained his journeyman status. Over the last 14 years he has gained extensive experience in the HVAC industry and has received countless hours of specialized training on various pieces of equipment. In 2017 he was assigned as the Houston branch service manager. In his new role, he continues to exude excellence by instilling professional, proficient, and punctual values, and is the foundation of a well-rounded service department. He continues to exponentially build the service department with a dynamic focus in customer.

About: Alex is our lead technician in the Lubbock Service Department. Alex began his career in HVAC and plumbing in 2018 and has a diverse experience in commercial construction and service environment. Alex has been an asset in the development and maintenance of our service relationships.

Education: CLS trained Drill Sgt. in the US Army with 17 years served, Master Backflow, Plumbing, MED Gas and HVAC License, OSHA 10 & 30 Training, Completion of EMT B and Intermediate Paramedic

About: Tommy is a highly skilled and experienced professional with 30+ years of hands-on knowledge. He is retired from the US Army and has an extensive background in plumbing and HVAC product sales and installations. He is adept at assessing needs, ensuring all project requirements are up to code and fulfilling all aspects of the job. Tommy has been an incredible asset to the LBK DSI Team and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each project.

Ryan Haby

Education: The University of Texas at San Antonio – Bachelors in Business Management

About: Ryan serves as the Service Account Manager for the San Antonio market. Ryan joined DSI in 2023 after the acquisition of Service Mechanical Group, LLC. Ryan has been in the HVAC service industry since 2001. He started his career with Service Mechanical Group as a mechanic in 2001 moving to account management in 2006. Over the last 22 years he has gained extensive experience in the HVAC service industry. He continues to learn about the newest HVAC designs and equipment striving to provide the customers with the highest quality service.  He has developed customer relationships with businesses in the healthcare, government, manufacturing, telecommunications and commercial real estate industries.
