In 2017, Ryan transitioned into the project management and operations realm, further solidifying his expertise in orchestrating complex endeavors. Prior to joining the DSI family in October 2021, Ryan spent 15 years at LMI in Denver, Colorado, where he honed his skills and garnered invaluable experience. Now, as a valued member of the DSI team, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the table, poised to contribute to the continued growth and prosperity of the organization.

Kevin Ryden

Education: Texas A&M – Bachelor of Science 2002

About: Kevin became a part of the DSI team in October 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his tenure in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) industry. Prior to joining DSI, Kevin served as a Business Development Manager for a regional MEP contractor and later as an Area Manager for a boiler service contractor and boiler manufacturer’s representative, accumulating a total of 7 years in the field.

With over a decade of experience in facility sales, Kevin has cultivated strong relationships with numerous facility managers, property owners, and property managers across Central Texas. His background in project management within the commercial irrigation and electrical manufacturing industries provides him with a solid understanding of the key elements that contribute to successful project execution once deals are secured and implemented in the field.

About: Alex Calisto is an integral member of Dynamic Systems’ Dallas, Texas team, holding the position of Manager of Service and Special Projects. He embarked on his career journey with DSI in 2008 and has since played pivotal roles in numerous projects across the DFW area and Austin, Texas. Alex has demonstrated his leadership prowess by overseeing projects as the general contractor, effectively coordinating up to 12 subcontractors concurrently.

Renowned for his dependability and strong leadership qualities, Alex has honed his scheduling acumen by gaining insights into not only his team’s task completion times but also the intricacies of collaborating with various trades. His meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in managing complex project installations underscore his capabilities. Alex’s expertise spans multiple markets including Commercial, Healthcare, Laboratory, and Microelectronics.

Alex’s academic journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Texas at Dallas. Additionally, he holds certification as a LEED AP BD+C, further solidifying his credentials in sustainable construction practices.


Dwayne Morris

About: Dwayne has been immersed in the HVAC service industry since 1997. Upon completing his college education in 1999, he commenced his professional journey with Carrier Commercial Service as a dispatcher. Over the years, he steadily climbed the ladder, assuming roles of escalating responsibility, from sales and account management to ultimately serving as Territory Service Manager by 2006. Drawing from his extensive experience, Dwayne ventured to assist smaller mechanical contractors in establishing service departments, leveraging his expertise to foster growth.

In 2016, Dwayne brought his wealth of knowledge and leadership to DSI, joining as the Service Manager. His strategic vision and organizational skills were instrumental in shaping the service department into its current form. Dwayne’s tenure at DSI reflects his commitment to excellence and his ability to drive positive change within the organization.

Kyle’s integration into the DSI family has been seamless, demonstrating creativity, motivation, and a readiness to tackle challenges head-on. Thriving under pressure, Kyle exhibits confidence in decision-making and a penchant for devising innovative solutions. He remains steadfast in upholding DSI’s mission, ensuring adherence to regulations, schedules, and budgets with diligence.

Kyle excels in customer relations and personnel management, adeptly communicating goals, identifying potential issues, and fostering solutions while empowering his colleagues. Sam Burnside 

Labor Manager | Team Member Since: 2009

Education: JATC Trade School

About: Sam serves as the Labor Manager at Dynamic Systems’ College Station, Texas branch. With a career in the mechanical construction industry that commenced in 2007, he joined the DSI team in 2009, bringing with him extensive experience across diverse markets including Clean Room, Commercial, Healthcare, Laboratory, Life Sciences, Mission Critical, and Semiconductor. Throughout his career, Sam has primarily worked on projects in College Station, Austin, and San Antonio, showcasing his versatility and dedication to excellence.

Recognized as a strong leader, Sam consistently proves himself as a valuable asset to both his projects and the DSI team. His ambition drives him to continuously acquire new skills and implement innovative ideas, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Sam adeptly navigates dynamic environments, confronting unforeseen challenges with confidence and precision. His meticulous attention to detail ensures that every task meets or exceeds standards before proceeding to the next activity.

Sam excels in various specialties including process and specialty gas piping, plumbing, mechanical work, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and NAVIS technology. He honed his skills through education at the JATC Trade School in Austin, Texas, and furthered his expertise by obtaining certifications as an Orbital Welder, Rigger, Pipefitter, and becoming a Licensed Plumber. Leveraging his comprehensive knowledge, Sam contributes to project management efforts and motivates his team to consistently deliver high-quality results.

Ronald Blodgett

About: Ronald serves as the Service Manager based in College Station, Texas, bringing with him a wealth of experience since his industry debut in 1998, and joining the DSI team in 2016. His professional journey has seen him contribute to a diverse array of projects spanning markets such as Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Laboratory, and Mission Critical. Ronald’s work has taken him across the United States, including military bases and states like Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

As a dedicated Journeyman, Ronald possesses expertise in plumbing, pipefitting, refrigeration machinery, and HVAC repair and maintenance. He is renowned for his adept troubleshooting skills and strong work ethic, consistently going the extra mile to prioritize employee safety and project success. Ronald’s excellence in communication extends to both team members and customers, where he excels in fostering collaboration and providing clarity on project goals and expectations.

About: Jason holds the position of Manager of Service & Special Projects for the Houston market, bringing a wealth of experience to his role. His career journey with DSI commenced in 2021, following an illustrious 20-year tenure in the military as an Engineering Officer. During his military service, Jason gained extensive expertise in managing preventive maintenance programs, corrective maintenance, and the operation of various critical systems such as HVAC, Septic, Hydraulics, Diesel and Outboard Engines, and basic electrical systems.

Throughout his military career, Jason oversaw diverse projects involving Facilities and Shipboard assets, where he managed capital project management across multiple disciplines. His robust background in engineering and project management equips him with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in his role at DSI, where he continues to leverage his experience to drive success in service and special projects within the Houston market.


James Whitten

About: James boasts a rich history in the service industry, dating back to 2003 when he embarked on his journey with Rigaku Americas as a service technician. Over the years, he ascended through the ranks, assuming roles of increasing responsibility, eventually reaching the position of regional service manager from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, James transitioned to the local 211 Pipefitters union, where he began his tenure with DSI as a pre-apprentice.

Since joining DSI, James has completed a rigorous 5-year apprenticeship, earning his journeyman status and amassing over 14 years of invaluable experience in the HVAC industry. He has undergone extensive specialized training on various equipment, further enhancing his expertise. In 2017, James assumed the role of Houston branch service manager, where he continues to demonstrate excellence by embodying professional, proficient, and punctual values.

In his capacity as service manager, James serves as the linchpin of a well-rounded service department, continually striving to enhance customer satisfaction through dynamic approaches. His dedication and commitment to excellence contribute significantly to the growth and success of the Houston branch’s service department.
